This blazing fast course brings runners downhill along the Foothills Rail Trail and through the quaint towns and farmlands of the surrounding area, with a finish in front of both the McMillin Foothills' Trail Bridge and the Historic McMillin Bridge.
A 5K race on a super fast, flat and downhill course starting at N. 37th & N. Vassault Street in Tacoma and finishing at Point Ruston's Grand Plaza. Have no fear! While this is a speedy course for fast runners, it also is a fun course for a power-walk before your Independence Day barbecue. Everybody is welcome to participate!

Runners and walkers will start and finish from the Curran Apple Orchard Park meandering through a 3.1 mile loop around the quiet neighborhoods of University Place with glimpses of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and the Puget Sound. With gentle rolling hills along with flat and fast sections, you’re going to enjoy this 5K course.
